CHALKBOARD FOOTPRINTS Baby Shower

The parents-to-be will be surprised to about their baby's gender on it's birthday! The hostesses had a lot of information to include for this Open House style baby shower, and wanted to use footprints on the invitation to coordinate with their idea of giving mini bottles of Barefoot wine as favors!

The wording can easily be changed for a more traditional shower and the colors can be altered as needed.

The design is available as a 5x7. I can also work it up as a 4x6, but some of the text would need to be cut from the sample provided to make sure everything is easy to read.

NURSERY Baby Shower

Getting the nursery ready can be a highlight of the nesting process as mothers-to-be prepare for their little one(s). I was sent photos of the baby's room to use as inspiration for this baby shower invitation. It is done in mainly gray, khaki, and white with splashes of light pink and polka dots. The wallpaper on the crib wall is made by York Wallcoverings and is called Word Play, in the Risky Business collection. I was also sent a photo of a light that reminded me of this one from Ikea, so I added it to the top of the design as well.

There are so many ways to customize this invitation to make it coordinate with the baby's nursery. If the parent's are sharing the baby's name, it would be adorable to add a "blanket" to the crib with the name added! I am happy to change out patterns, colors and even fonts to make it appropriate for a little boy.

BANNER Baby Shower

I am really pleased with how this invitation turned out, and the versatility it allows. It is great for a non-themed shower and the color options are essentially endless. The fonts work well for a girl or a boy and the icon at the top of the invitation can also be changed pretty much anything (feet, anchor, boots, airplane, car, train, bow/bowtie, mustache, rattle, monogram, etc.) Please do not feel limited by the samples shown here.

Additionally, it would also be easy to change up the wording a bit and maybe the fonts for a wedding shower!

The sets are available as 5x7 (shown) or 4x6 and come with white envelopes, but 5x7 colored envelopes in many colors are usually available. Return address printing is also a very cute touch for only $.20 per envelope.

FLY OVER Airplane Baby Shower

I'm really pleased with how these baby shower invitations turned out. They have a crisp and clean look with a touch of whimsy. The colors are completely customizable and you can put any text you want on the plane's banner.

With a few small changes, I think this would also make an adorable birthday invitation.

The design is available in a 4x6 or 5x7 (shown) size. The sets come with plain white envelopes and pricing is based on size and quantity, shown at the far right on the web version of the blog.
Return address printing is really cute and includes the plane icon. Only $.20 per envelope.
Colored envelopes are also available for $.23 each (5x7 only).
