FAMILY TREE Anniversary Invitation

I recently worked on another set of invitations for this client and she asked me to come up with something special for her parent's upcoming 50th wedding anniversary celebration.

She wanted to use gold because 50th is the "Golden Anniversary". She also requested a tree image with roots to symbolize family, and provided a poem to include on the invitation. The rest was up to me.

I'm not exactly sure how the idea came to me, but I am so excited about these printed, gatefold, golden invitations. The invitation flaps close to form a tree with each member of the couple and the invitation is sealed with a metallic red heart. Once opened, it reveals a white, 4x6 invitation panel printed with black ink.

These sets include plain white envelopes and return address printing is available for $.20 per envelope.

I am picking up the printed pieces tomorrow and I can't wait to see them in person. This is actually a very economical invitation because all of the printing is in black. It is the paper and presentation that really dress it up!

SINGLE MONOGRAM Wedding Invitations

There are MANY variables when it comes to wedding invitations. I can accommodate any reasonable budget. (You may not be able to get all the bells and whistles, but we can make it work with this design!) The colors are completely customizable!

This suite shows a gatefold invitation in a metallic graphite and yellow (matte or metallic) backer and invitation panel in white. The gatefold is held closed with the wrap. It can be 1.5" ribbon or the same baker paper. Then is held closed with a 2" circle. The wrap slides off the invitation to open.

RSVP cards and other inserts are available, but not shown. I also have a variety of program options.

Here is a sample of a 16x20 seating chart. I am happy to design the chart and send you a digital file for you to print locally to avoid high shipping charges.

Celebrating 70

I previously had this design grouped with another 70th birthday party invitation, but now that I've created a feminine version as well, I thought it deserved a post of its own.

These invitations are available as a 4x6 or 5x7 (please specify when ordering). The colors are customizable. It is typical that I need to do a little bit of Photoshop work with the photos, which is included in the cost, but I need photos in as high resolution as possible.

I also think this would make an awesome anniversary party invitation with an old wedding photo of the couple!

SKATER Birthday

I have worked with this fun client several times in the past, and it has become a bit of a tradition to include a photo of the birthday boy on the invitations. This year his interest in skateboarding has become the theme of this party. The color scheme is turquoise, gray, black and white.

I tried to keep it edgy and fun, but also very appropriate for a 6 year old event. Before my 5 and half year old left for school this morning, I showed him the comps and he said they were "super cool, mom" so I felt comfortable passing them along to the client. Thankfully, her little man was pleased too!

This design is available in a 5x7 or 4x6 for any age. The colors are customizable and if you do not want to include a photo, it is certainly not required.

LACE & PEARLS Bridal Shower Invitation

This custom piece was fun to work on. This actually wasn't the selected design, but it is my favorite. The mint & poppy color scheme is a bit non-traditional, but I think it is stunning. The pearls create a nice divider within the layout and using the poppy color sparingly creates softness with a pop of color.

This invitation is available as a 5x7 (shown) or a 4x6. The colors are completely customizable and I am happy to work up a return address design, stickers, thank you cards, etc. without any additional design fee. Depending on the color scheme, coordinating colored envelopes in the 5x7 size are also available for $.23 each.

MONOGRAM Shower

This invitation was designed for a client that liked my Monograms & Mimosas, Margaritas, Martinis, but she didn't want a featured beverage. I changed up the fonts a bit and the background pattern. These designs look great in a ton of different color combinations. There is no extra charge to change out the colors, so just let me know!

These were designed for a bridal shower, but they would also be adorable for a baby shower with just a few modifications to let the guests know what the baby's monogram will be!

The invitation is available as a 5x7 or 4x6. The optional enclosure card with the monogram information is $.45 each. I can also print the same information on the back of the card, making it double-sided. If you choose not to provide the extra information, I am happy to list the registry information on the invitation itself.

Silhouette Wedding PROGRAM & TABLE ASSIGNMENTS

This idea has become more popular recently and I think it is cute, and a ton of fun. There are MANY ways to customize the design just for your event.  Consider this design a concept, that is able to change in many many ways. I can change fonts, colors, dress/suit styles, flowers, remove the anchor, etc.

The program is a double-sided, monarch-sized panel, so it is an economical option.

I can do many different formats for a seating chart/table assignment board. One of the easiest is having me create a digital file for you to print locally yourself (to avoid high shipping charges). You can have them printed at an office supply store or even order a "poster" print form a photo supplier. I can accommodate any size. Once placed in a beautiful frame, it is an easy, effective way for guests to know where to sit.

GARDEN / BUTTERFLY Birthday

The design process is my favorite aspect of my job. I rarely know how long a project will take me or what the end result will look like. Sometimes I post the design that was selected by the commissioning client, and sometimes I choose to share my favorite design or the the design I think most other people will prefer.

For this project, the party is garden themed. The client wanted me to use an adorable little poem, include a photo, and avoid an overly pastel color scheme. The designs shown above are 2 of the compositions I provided. Though there are similarities, they are very different so I've decided to add both. The butterfly design is not as garden-themed, but I love the colors and elegance. I still think the poem works, but I am also happy to change it to something else.

If your child is not turning one, a great alternate line is "We hope you can come." I can also provide a design that does not use a photo at your request.

"ROBERT" Birth Announcement

I may be a little bit biased because this little guy's mama is one of my dearest friends, but isn't he adorable?!!

I love how these announcements turned out. The front photo is full bleed and with his name in white and stats in a medium gray. The back has a corrugated background texture and features big sister/little brother and then one more solo shot of the little man.

"JACANA" Birth Announcement

This birth announcement was designed to coordinate with the CoCaLo bedding set with the same name and also matches the shower invitations. This shows a single-sided option, but it would be very easy to add pattern, additional photos, or even a brief message to the back.

I recently added a version of this design to the blog for a baby shower, but it was requested as a birthday invitation for a little girl. The background bandana color can be customized to whatever you'd like. I also have colored envelopes available.

Trivia Night FUNDRAISER Invitation

This retro TV inspired fundraiser invitation turned out really cute. The logo I created has a "TV Land" kind of feel and I love the bright colors on the subtle swirl background.

The invitation itself is a double-sided 5x7 with a gloss finish. There is also 4x6 response card/donation form included with each invitation set. Volume pricing is available for these cute, customizable invitation sets.

NEON, Glow-in-the-Dark Party

(The invitation itself does not glow in the dark....though that would be really cool!)

When I was commissioned for this project, I had to do a little research. Perhaps I'm showing my age, but a "Neon, Glow-in-the-Dark" party theme is new to me. As soon as I typed it into Pinterest, I immediately understood. Black lights, glow sticks, neon, glow-in-the-dark nail polish, etc. etc. Sounds like a good time, especially for a 16th birthday!

The birthday girl's favorite color is purple and she wanted "16" highlighted. This is the final result.
It has an 80s, disco, and somehow modern "retro" vibe. With a few slight font variations and color changes, I think this would be great for a boy too!

The invitation sets come with white envelope, but I've got a lot of bright colors that would look really awesome too. (Additional $.23 per envelope.)
