NEW ORLEANS . bachelorette weekend invitation

I've been wanting to add a few bachelorette invitations to my portfolio (New Orleans and Las Vegas specific designs) and I just completed the New Orleans design today!

I wanted to make it very specific to New Orleans, which is full of iconic imagery but I also wanted the invitation to be classy and organized....with plenty of "fun" for a bachelorette! I used the classic purple and green color scheme and chose to play up the amazing iron work of New Orleans. The background has an amazing sketch showing the beautiful architecture, a little bit of foliage, a street lamp, and a horse and buggy.

I love the detail and the simplicity at the same time.

I didn't want to crowd up the front, so I added space for a full itinerary as well as contact information and sizing (if it is a lingerie event) on the back!

DOWNTOWN Bachelorette Bash

Not everyone wants (or has the means) to head to the beach or wine country for a bachelorette party. An urban style night on the town can be perfect to send off a great friend into married life.

BLACK & WHITE Bachelorette Party

The bride wears white, all of the guests wear black.

I'd never heard of this concept prior to working on this invitation, but it sounds like a lot of fun! I used silhouettes of fashionable ladies to create a visual of the party theme. The color scheme is adjustable, but the hot pink, black and white certainly makes a statement.

Available as a 5x7 or a 4x6 with white envelopes. Coordinating return address printing is available.

RING — Bachelorette/Lingerie Shower

I pretty much adore this invitation. Look closely and the ring is made up of girly icons, perfect for a beach trip or lingerie shower. Even if you aren't going to the beach, I am happy to remove that line and I still think the design is appropriate.

I love the little poem. Another client sent me a version of it and I modified it to fit the masses.

This invitation is designed as an economical "monarch" size, but I am happy to reformat as a 5x7 too. Just ask.

WINE WEEKEND Bachelorette Party Invitation

Isn't this a cute concept?! I want to go on a wine weekend with my girlfriends....

FLIP-FLOP Beach Bachelorette

Apparently I am one of the few people that offers this sort of invitation. So, I might as well provide options. :) I have two other designs for the same occasion on the blog already, but here is another. This one is modern looking and clean, yet beachy. This one is extremely easy to customize to say exactly what you want. The colors with the sample are just suggestions, I am happy to provide this design in alternate colors as well. The background color just has to have a medium tone.

Bachelorette Party — Floral Heel

I was asked to create a rather generic bachelorette party invitation for a bride that loves purple and is using "eggplant" as one of her wedding colors. The letter B has turned out to be a pretty big theme of the event, so I highlighted each B in the poem (very cleverly written by the hostess) by using a bold font.

The look of the invitation is customized and classy, with a little flair of a floral heel. I am happy to adjust the colors to fit as scheme you have in mind.

There are also 2 size choices. You can go with the double-sided 5 x 7, or the less expensive, single sided vertical option (several sizes available).

Of course the return address on the flap of the envelope is also available, just not pictured.

BACHELORETTE Beach Weekend (Silhouette)

It is almost wedding season, so I've had several request for the beach bachelorette party invitations that I designed last year. This single sided design is a bit more economical and uses the same silhouette concept and large block of lettering as the previous, double sided version. There are many many ways to customize! Let me know how you'd like to tweak it or tell me your vision for an entirely new design.

I had so much fun working on this little project. My sister-in-law is hosting and wanted to tastefully combine both lingerie and the beach into the invitation. She came up with the idea of the clothesline of lingerie between palm trees and I just ran with it.

These invitations are 3.35 x 7.35, "monarch" & double-sided. Printed on 100 lb white paper, trimmed with rounded corners (not shown above) and come with white envelopes.

I hope the girls in attendance like their invitations. They are sure to have a fabulous time!
