VINTAGE SPORTS Birthday Invitation with Pennant

This youthful, fun, vintage-style birthday invitation ticket is great for your little athlete. It uses rich tones and the pennant is customized with your last name. Without being specific to one sport, the invitation has a overall sporty feel.

The invitation was originally designed for twins, so it is not a problem to alter the design for 2 kids.

The dimensions are 3.67 x 8.5 and each invitation comes with a white, #9 envelope. The pricing is the same as the 4x6 or "monarch" size listed to the right. Return address printing is an additional $.20 per invitation.

Supplemental pieces like thank you cards, stickers, banners, etc. can be made per request.

Rustic Laurel CHRISTMAS PARTY

I am really into rustic decor right now. Too bad it doesn't really coordinate with my house! So, I decided to make a rustic holiday party invitation instead. These are printed on 100% recycled kraft coverstock. The sets are available in the 4x6 or 5x7 size and come with white envelopes. Red, green, or kraft envelopes are available for the 5x7 size (red only for 4x6) for $.20 each. I am happy to customize a return address design for you as well.

"MAXTON" — Bright Eyed, Bushy Tailed

This little buddy arrived 6 weeks early. He is the littlest baby I've ever held and yet everything about him is absolutely perfect.

His room is decorated with the Bright Eyed, Bushy Tailed bedding set from Land of Nod. I created my own version of the giraffe used in the bedding. The polka-dot pattern of the giraffe is carried over onto the background of the back.

ICE CREAM Birthday

Connor wanted to have a party with ice cream. That sounded great to me...easy dessert and "theme" for sure. However, as I did some research for the invitation, there was NOTHING geared toward little boys. I decided to go with a retro-comic style to the invitation giving it a bit of a super hero feeling. Each scoop is designed to be a different flavor.

I am NOT a great baker or cake decorator. However, I tend to have pretty conceptual cakes. I decided to make an ice cream shaped cake with 5 "scoops", just like the invitation. The cone is cookie and each scoop is a different flavor. Carrot cake is Connor's favorite and he insisted that it have the little carrots on the icing. The large cake worked well because we invited a few friends to come over for the real party and then invited all of their families and other neighborhood friends to join us for cake and ice cream. There were tons of toppings for the kids to make their own sundaes. I bought an inflatable buffet online and filled it with ice to keep the ice cream from thawing too quickly. It worked great, but I should have used more ice. Connor loved it. :)

That is NOT his beer next to him blowing out the candles....his dad put it down to light the candles!!

MARIO BROTHERS Birthday

I thought it would be pretty easy to come up with an invitation with the Mario theme keeping clean lines and nothing too cluttered. I was wrong. Sometimes I'm able to create designs I'm happy with really quickly, and other times what I think will be a simple project turns into hours and hours...a labor of love. It happens. It is part of the job.

This was the birthday boy's favorite design. I think it is a winner. It is available as a 5x7 or a 4x6. The super cute return address design is $.20 per envelope and if you would like to upgrade to a color envelope, the additional cost is also $.20 per envelope.

I am happy to work up stickers, thank you cards, table signs, etc. by request.

DINO-mite Birthday

Here is another dinosaur birthday option, good for lots of ages. If you would like to include a photo on the invitation the age does need a "o". I am happy to use a photo in black and white or color.

The colors are customizable and this is a very economical, "monarch" size. Adorable, coordinating return address printing is also available.

Glittery Mountains—Holiday Card

I've enjoyed working on this family's holiday cards for the last three years. After a recent move to the mountains, it was very appropriate to include a mountain scene and integrated her request to use gold, silver, and white.

The "glitter" is printed and not actually a texture.

We paired it with white envelopes and made a custom rubber stamp for the return address in a gold, metallic ink.

"GRAHAM" — Birth Announcement

This beautiful baby boy joined this family of two sisters back in July (I'm obviously really late adding this project to the blog.)

I love how this design turned out and the way it utilizes so many wonderful photos.

All of my birth announcements are custom because no two children are the same. The photos are and names are always different, so I work to create something that fits for your little one!

BLACK & WHITE Bachelorette Party

The bride wears white, all of the guests wear black.

I'd never heard of this concept prior to working on this invitation, but it sounds like a lot of fun! I used silhouettes of fashionable ladies to create a visual of the party theme. The color scheme is adjustable, but the hot pink, black and white certainly makes a statement.

Lip Service — Movember

I was recently commissioned to create a team logo for a group of guys growing mustaches in the month of November to raise money for Men's Health. The movement is called "Movember".

The logo will be used for tshirts and other fun marketing products for this specific team (Lip Service).

Baby Sprinkle

Sometimes you want to have a smaller scale "shower" to honor a friend having a second baby, or maybe even a friend getting married for a second time. An all out "shower" seems like a bit much, but a "sprinkle" is just right.

(I can easily make modifications for a wedding sprinkle or to differentiate between a girl or boy baby.)

I'm really pleased with the organization, layout, and overall look of this classic baby shower invitation. There are tons of ways to customize the colors to coordinate with the baby's room or shower theme.

It is pretty easy to find a sport-specific invitation (baseball, etc.) but a little tougher to find an all around winner. This is a classic "ticket" design that includes 7 different sports.

Neverland Pirates BIRTHDAY Invitation

My 5 year old loves "Jake" and I've gotten multiple other requests for birthday invitations to fit this theme.

I love the classic red and white colors and the subtle old treasure map image and texture. Of course the characters are featured above the banner with the child's name. These are Disney characters. The high resolution images were found online.

A BANNER Birthday

This invitation is simple, clean and based on a color scheme instead of a "theme". The design & party happens to be for my precious niece (party info changed of course) and her mom has great plans for an ombre cake, white dishes, etc.

I designed a banner that coordinates with this design for when Vivian came home from the hospital and her mom plans to use it at the party, too!

I think this design would be fantastic for any age (even 70). It would be really easy to change the color scheme to fit your needs.

I plan to print the invitations on metallic/pearlized cardstock to make them extra fancy!
