BEER birthday invitation

I was so excited to work on this fun "beer" themed birthday party.

There were several options that I really liked in the batch of designs that I presented to the client, but this was my favorite (I love when that happens).

I have lots of favorite parts about this invitation...the bubbles in the beer, the chalkboard texture, and the combination of fonts...but my most favorite is the "Quality Since 1975". It is subtle and a great tribute to an old man! ;)

Bridal Shower finishing touches

I had so much fun designing several finishing touches for a very fancy bridal shower this weekend. These girls thought of everything to make the shower for their friend such a special occasion.

I designed a 24x36 "chalkboard" drink menu (it was actually just printed, but designed to look like a chalkboard...I can do actual chalkboards, too...but shipping is tricky) with the 4 beverages being served at the shower.

Each guest was also given a stemless wine glass with "hello gorgeous" in gold.

Also (not pictured) are 9 custom table signs that included things that the bride-to-be's fiancé loves about her. I formatted each saying on a 5x7 or 8x10 and then foiled them in gold or light pink. They were framed and placed around the shower for as completely personalized shower decor.

BUTTERFLY Birthday!

I received a request for an invitation with mainly purple and butterflies for a very special almost 5 year old girl!

I've decided to post 2 options that I provided because they are so different.

The WATERCOLOR BUTTERFLY invitation design is shown as a 5x7 with rounded corners. The colors cannot be altered in this design, but the age is easily modified and is also available in the 4x6 size with rounded corners. The sets come with white envelopes, but colored envelopes are available for the 5x7 size. The watercolor vector was designed by Freepik.

BUTTERFLY SILHOUETTES is shown as a 5x7 in the quatrefoil shape. I can adjust the colors to whatever you have in mind to match your party color scheme. Colored envelopes also available in the 5x7 size only. This invitation can be ordered as a 4x6 with rounded corners, not in the quatrefoil shape.

"ETHAN" birth announcement

I love the neutral colors in the photos and the design. It has a modern, classic and clean feel. The overall composition also uses my favorite photo elements...a solo shot of the baby on the front with family and sibling pictures on the back. What a beautiful family!

"TUCKER" birth announcement

Tucker is an absolute doll. I designed John Deere shower announcements that coordinated with his room, so it only made sense to subtly tie the announcement design in as well. I love the combination of black and white and color photos.

The verse is printed on the back.

This design is available as a 4x6 or a 5x7.

Can I go to this party??

The birthday girl's mom was pretty specific about wanting black/white stripes, gold-glitter (printed) pineapples, hot pink, green, & yellow with the cute little saying she provided. She also sent me a few photos of the pineapple shaped drinks that she ordered and the overall color scheme.  I love how it turned out!

The invitation shown is a 5x7 with rounded corners. I'm happy to design address stickers or return address printing and am happy to whip up additional "extras" at your request. Electric Materials Company 100th Anniversary

I was asked to design an anniversary invitation for the Electric Materials Company celebrating an impressive 100 years. The client liked my family tree anniversary design with the gold gatefold, so I used that as a base and whipped something up just for them. My understanding is that the company began by supplying materials for trolleys..specifically copper. In previous anniversaries, they used the "It all began with the trolley" line, so I wanted to use it again for the big anniversary.

I used a metallic copper coverstock for the gatefold card. The quote is on one flap and the vintage trolley image is on other and wraps onto the back. The interior panel is a 4x6 with black text. The gatefold holds a 4x6 postcard printed in color with the logo (I did not design the logo) and the same logo is used on a wrap to hold everything together.

Overall, I am really pleased with how the invitations turned out. The committee was great to work with and I wish them all the best with their upcoming event!

This is the second half to my new venture into the world of creating prints/home decor. My designs are currently being sold in a couple of boutiques and I thought I'd offer them directly to my online customers as well. I was recently asked to create custom prints to sell in boutiques. Gallery walls and framable home decor are very much in style. Artfully crafted words of inspiration or humor could be just what you need! These prints also make amazing gifts! My friends specifically wanted customary digital prints as well as foiled prints....so through much trial and error, I've taught myself how to foil and the results are amazing!

Each print handmade, sold individually and is packaged with a backer board in a plastic sleeve for safe, first class mail shipping. Shipping is only $2.00. Wholesale pricing is available for those looking to resell my work. (I am working on a line item order form for wholesalers.)

ONESIE baby shower invitations

I received a request for custom shaped invitations shortly after I purchased my newest design toy, a Silhouette Cameo. I was able to accurately cut out these custom invitations easily. It obviously took a bit longer because each one was cut electronically, but I was very pleased with how they turned out!

The size is a 5x7, fitting into an A7 envelope. I have shown a boy and girl option, but the colors and icons are completely customizable, so please let me know what you have in mind! Dr. Seuss THING ONE & THING TWO Birthday

If children have birthdays close together in the year, sometimes it is easier and cost effective to throw a double party. Invitations are not always easy to find, so I whipped up something special for this dynamic duo and they turned out really cute!

CLASSIC CAR Birthday

I get far more requests for children's birthday invitations, so this one was a nice change. There was a lot of text that needed to be included, so I tried to keep it simple and organized and draw the most attention to the honoree's name and the classic Stingray car.

The sample shown is a double-sided 5x7 with a simple black and white checkerboard pattern on the back. The design is available single-sided, as a 4x6, or a digital file.

HARRY POTTER / QUIDDITCH Birthday

I have been so busy (I need to add a whole new section to the blog for PRINTS), but I just had to add this latest invitation. I'm a Harry Potter lover myself and I love how this invitation turned out. The birthday boy wants to play Quidditch at the party. I'm not exactly sure how that works without a little magic, but I was up to create an invite for the occassion.

I've adorned this one with classic Gryffindor colors and the invitation is a 5x7 with notched corners.

"JULIA" birth announcement

Babies, babies, everywhere! This newest addition is so precious and was born into one of the sweetest families. I don't think it is possible for Claire to get any cuter holding her new little sister. I can just feel the love!

This announcement is in the 5x7 quatrefoil shape and is double-sided. The simple design and layout allow the photos to speak for themselves and the shape gives it a little extra feminine touch....at no additional cost!
