PETER PAN Birthday

This invitation design was inspired by my Pirates & Mermaids design.
I altered the colors to create a nighttime scene, added iconic character silhouettes and the birthday year to the mast of the ship.

The design is shown as a 5x7 with double rounded corners. Though it is not shown in the monarch size, it should work that way as well. Click here to view the baby shower version that shows a similar design cropped into the curvy monarch shape.

PETER PAN Baby Shower Invitation

I recently designed a birthday invitation in the Peter Pan theme, and I thought it would be adorable for a baby shower too. I love the silhouettes of Peter Pan, the Darling children, Tinkerbell and the London skyline as well as the famous JM Barrie quote.

I've designed the invitation as a 5x7 or "monarch". (It can also be a 4x6 with rounded corners.) It is shown here as a 5x7 with rounded corners and as a curvy monarch. The shaped designs are the same price as the standard straight cuts.

This design would also work as a wedding shower invitation for Disney enthusiasts. HERE is a link to the birthday invitation design. If you prefer using the London skyline and less of a pirate theme, I am happy to send you a birthday version of this design.

CUSTOM Communion-Baptism invitation

This mom thought of this moment even before her second daughter was born, "Molly & Maeve" just sounds so cute together. This combination event definitely called for a custom invitation to fit both events and both names beautifully together.

Growth Studios — LOGO Design

Creating a professional LOGO & promotions package sets the tone for your business.

This was a 2014 project that I am just now adding to the blog. It was great collaborating with Lindsey to create an effective, eye-catching logo for her new business. The logo was then incorporated into two different styles of business cards and unique resume or cv (curriculum vitae) that graphically and typographically represented her career experience.
I have designed my own resumé, but this was the first I've designed for someone in a non-arts field. The importance of the visual design of a resumé is often overlooked, but of utmost importance. This single sheet of paper is the VERY first impression that someone has of you or your business. It should help you stand out and promote YOU from the start. This version was designed to be handed out or downloaded from the internet from the Growth Studios website.

Abby Jayne Photography — MARKETING CARDS

This talented friend and photographer did a great job on our family photos this fall and has really grown her hobby into a full business, in addition to her full time job as a surgical Physicial Assistant, and a mommy to two little ones. I seriously don't know when she sleeps!

These marketing cards highlight seniors in high school specifically, hoping to boost her location shoots...beach and urban settings. I used her existing logo and combined some of her favorite senior images to create an effective marketing tool. She does an amazing job and the CD of edited images is always included in the investment price! What a deal!

BLACK DAMASK wedding suite

Black and white is a classic combination that exudes elegance and grace with a graphic punch. I love working in black and white.

These invitations printed so beautifully. The front is a solid black with crisp, white text and a very graphic, full bleed, damask pattern printed on the back. Even though this is a double-sided design, the cost is very low because there is only one print color: black.

The response card is also simple and elegant, but carries a bit of the pattern onto the design.

As shown, these invitations cost only $1.80 per set!

I recently completed the programs in this design as well as table seating tents and some really cute printables that are a steal at only $5 each!

JOHN DEERE - TRACTOR Birthday

I recently completed baby shower invitations with this John Deere theme and decided to alter one of the original design options for a birthday. I thought it would be fun to include 2 options, one with a photo and one without.

ALL-AMERICAN Birthday

It may not be the 4th of July, but it is always a good time to celebrate being an American. Robert and his family love all things red, white, and blue! This birthday will be so fun to decorate and I absolutely love the special patriotic photos that were taken for his big day!

JOHN DEERE - TRACTOR Baby Shower

I was excited and anxious to get started on this custom baby shower design. I grew up in the south and have a lot of family in farming (& a father that loves utilitarian "toys"). I guess my love of John Deere green and yellow just runs through my veins.

When I received this request, I was also given a few images to use as inspiration: a quilt mock-up design and a stunning window painting that will go in the nursery. I submitted 8 designs to the client and I genuinely did not have a favorite. I may rework one of the other options as a birthday invitation because I know plenty of little boys who love tractors too!

WATERCOLOR FLORAL shower invitation

I found some beautiful watercolored flower images for sale several weeks ago and have been anxious to use them on an invitation design. I got my chance with these beautiful Garden Shower invitations. (Wording changes are welcome. It doesn't have to be a garden shower: bridal, baby, couples, or luncheon, etc. What a great excuse to decorate with fresh flowers!)

While browsing Pinterest, I saw the idea of giving floral seed packets as shower favors. I can just imagine the tags I could create to coordinate with this suite. What a great, inexpensive favor!

LILIES Bridal Shower

This design was especially fun for me because I get to go! The event is for my soon-to-be sister-in-law. The event is the day before Easter, so I thought using lilies would be appropriate, and they should be readily available and inexpensive to purchase as shower decorations.

Navy is one of her wedding colors, so I used just a tough of it to go with the pastels and it turned out beautifully. It is very easy to use this design for a baby shower by simply changing the word "Bridal" to "Baby".

CHALKBOARD SPRIGS Couples Shower

The chalkboard background continues to be a popular design choice. This invitation design uses hand-drawn fonts, vintage textures, and an informative layout. There are many ways to customize the design to make it perfect for your event. The sample uses the words "Drop-In Couples Shower" because the event is more of an open house. For a more structured timeline, those words can easily be changed to "Couples Wedding Shower" or even a baby event. If you are thinking of using this design for a baby shower honoring only the mother, I can easily alter the design to include the baby's name in a smaller scale.

The pale yellow can be substituted for any other pastel or bright color.

This is a great invitation to honor a bride before her big day. It is designed for a bridal luncheon, but it would also work great for a shower for a bride, couple, or even a mother-to-be! The background pink color can be changed as needed and registry information can easily be added.
